The Curt # C11416 is a Class I trailer hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. It has a 200-pound tongue weight capacity and 2,000-pound towing weight capacity. The class I hitch limits bicycles to a maximum of 2. Curt requires you to use the # 18050 stabilizer strap for non-towing applications like bike racks or cargo carriers.
The ecoHitch # 306-X7322 has a 2" receiver. It has a 300-pound tongue weight capacity and 2,000-pound towing weight capacity. This hitch does not limit the number of bicycles, so you would be able to carry a 4-bike rack without worry. No stabilization strap needed.
I would definitely recommend the ecoHitch # 306-X7322. It has a higher weight capacity and the 2" receiver gives you many more options in accessories than the 1-1/4" receiver would.
Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4"
EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2"
