From the picture that you sent me it looks like you are using the Yakima HullyRoller Kayak Carrier Y04035.
The adapter that you will need so that they will fit on your 2017 Subaru Forester is the Universal MightyMounts # Y03590. The MightyMounts will fit round, square, or factory roof racks that have crossbars that are no wider than 4 inches and no taller than 1-1/2 inches. These adapters will also fit a variety of other Yakima products as well.
You can also use 4 lock cores # Y07204 to add some security to your MightyMounts.
