Recommended Adapter to Reduce 2 inch Hitch Receiver to 1-1/4 Inch on 2013 Honda CR-V

Have class 3 Curt hitch on a Honda CRV. Need to attach a Pro Series cargo carrier 20x47 . Which reducer is best deal? Will never need to tow with the 1 1/4. Dont want it to stick out too far. Will not reach the 300lb limit on the carrier. Thanks

To reduce the hitch receiver on your 2013 Honda CR-V from 2 inches to 1-1/4 inches, I recommend the Brophy Hitch Reducer # HT02. This is a great and simple hitch reducer that has a tongue weight capacity of 300 pounds and measures only 3 inches from pin hole to pin hole. I have attached a short video demonstration so you can see exactly how it works and how far it will stick out from the hitch.

The great thing about this particular adapter is that when using most other similar hitch adapters, the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch will be reduced by 50%. Because of the sleeve design on this unit, you will get to retain the hitch's full capacity on your CR-V when using the adapter.
