Question:
Replacing a 1 7/8inch coupler on a 1992 Shorelander trailer due to it being bent. Want to replace with 2inch but cant fine one with the mounting holes to where I dont have a gap between coupler and top of toungue. Any suggestions? Picked up a Reece one and it is at least 3/8inch gap.

It would depend on the measurements of your trailer's tongue to find an exact fit. One of our most popular couplers, # CT-3001-Z, is 10-3/4 inches long by 3-1/2 inches wide and is for 2 inch trailer tongues.
The mounting holes are 1/2 inch diameter holes spaced 3-1/16 inches apart on center.
