Do the Derale trans coolers come with vehicle specific installation instructions?

The Derale Transmission coolers do not come with vehicle specific install instructions, but we have a video installation that should be very helpful. I have also attached a diagram detailing how the cooler is installed for you.
Installation is fairly simple. You can find the transmission return line by running the vehicle briefly and checking for the cooler of the two transmission lines. The coolest line will be the return line that you need to attach to either port on the transmission cooler. The transmission cooler is not directional. You may need a small amount of transmission fluid to top off the system after the installation.
The transmission lines on your vehicle should have 3/8 inch fittings and one is provided with the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, item # D13502. This fitting will fit on the return side (out) transmission line of your radiator.
You will then attach the supplied hose to this fitting and run it to the transmission cooler. Then attach the remaining hose to the other side of transmission cooler and to the return transmission line. When attaching the hose to your transmission return line you will not need a fitting. Just slide the original fitting back, put a hose clamp on then slide the hose over the original flared end and tighten the clamp. For those who have some mechanical ability the transmission cooler install will not be a problem, and only requires a screw driver, adjustable wrench and a knife to cut the hose to length.
