Will Derale Transmission Pan Cooler D14207 Fit a GM 4L80E Transmission in 1999 Chevy Van/RV
Question:
I have a 1999 class c motor home with a 7.4 and 4l80e trans and would like to tow with the motor home. I was thinking about putting the D14207 pan on just not sure if it would fit.

I have some good news and I have something for you to check on the existing transmission pan on your 1999 RV built on the Chevy van chassis. The good news that Derale cooler # D14207 does indeed fit the GM 4L80E transmission so if that is for sure what is on the tranny now then the shape and mounting pattern will all match.
But if for some reason there is anything that runs under the pan then it might not fit because the Derale pan is taller. Specifically it is 4-1/4 inches high. So provided there is space you can use pan cooler # D14207 with the GM 4L80E transmission. There is also a temperature sensor, # D13009, you can add to keep an eye on the fluid temperature.
