4 Bike Rack Recommendation for Rear of Fifth Wheel Trailer Camper

Question:

I noticed this rack states it only works on cars truck suvs ect. Checking to see if this rack would work on the back of a fifth wheel camper with receiver hitch.

At the rear of a trailer or RV the ride quality is very rough when compared to the ride quality at the rear of a passenger vehicle. Reason being the suspension isn't as sophisticated and there is a longer distance between the rear axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movement of the trailer when hitting bumps. Because of that only a few bike racks were designed to be reinforced enough for that type of use.

The Hollywood rack bike rack # HR1400Z you mentioned is a great rack but it is not RV rated. Instead you would want the Yakima LongHaul 4 Bike RV Rack # Y02476 which is a great rack for carrying up to 4 bikes and is RV rated. And as far as 4 bike racks go it's a bit lighter at 32 lbs.
