Left Trailer Lights Keep Blowing Fuse with 2017 GMC Acadia

I keep blowing left trailer light fuses on my GMC. I have five different trailers, including boats and fifth wheel, and the fuse blows on all of them. It does not blow until I am on the road, sometimes not for days, other times in an hour or so I never know when it blows because there is no indicator in truck cab. I have tried three seven pin adapters. I have brought it bake to dealer, but they just say I looks ok. On a recent trip to Canada, I blew five fuses. Since dealer is of no help, I want to fix this problem myself. I know it is the truck. Where should I start?

There is most likely a short somewhere that is over-drawing the left trailer light circuit and causing the fuse to blow. Since the issue seems to be on the vehicle side, I recommend checking that the connector at the rear of your Acadia is clean and free of any corrosion in and around the pins where the wires attach.

Inspect any wiring going back to the trailer for any pinched or damaged sections.

It's also possible that the combined power draw from your trailer lights is simply too much for the circuit to handle and is causing the fuse to blow. Switching to LED trailer lights, which draw far less power, may solve the problem. I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection for you to look through.
