For just a single bar roof rack system for your 2017 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab, I recommend the Rhino Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack system. This will consist of parts # RRVA137B for the single 54 inch aero crossbar, # RRRLKVAH for the mounting legs and # DK174H for the DK Fit Kit. This will be everything needed to install one crossbar on the roof of your Tacoma. The crossbar will have a weight capacity of 165 pounds and provide a nice, quiet ride because of its aerodynamic design.
