Question:
I am about to buy a 2017 Toyota Highlander. My existing trailer has separate circuits for brake lights, turn lights and running lights. How do you suggest I tackle this problem using your products?

First thing you need to check out is the trailer connector that is on your trailer. If it's a standard 4 or 7-way there is a good chance it has a converter installed on the wiring to take the combined circuit signals from the tow vehicle (as that's the standard wiring setup) and convert them to your trailer's lighting.
For a 4-way harness that's confirmed as a fit we have the part # 118449 which will give you a standard 4-way.
If you need to convert that to a 7-way all you need is the part # 37185.
