4 Bike Platform Bike Rack that Has Angled Shank for Better Ground Clearance

Question:

We are currently using a thule two bike platform rack. It extends 10 inches from the face of the hitch and drags on the ground because the honda van sits so low. I had to install a skid plate at the end of it because it drags so much. I am looking at the Hollywood sport rider se 4 bike platform. can you tell me how inches it extends out of the hitch before it turns upward?

I have a great solution for you, but the Hollywood racks that you mentioned isn't really going to gain you any ground clearance.

If ground clearance is the number one priority the Saris Freedom 4 bike rack part # SA4414B-FB would be the best option as it's shank almost as soon as it exits the hitch of the vehicle starts to angle up for added ground clearance.

If you check out the picture I attached you can see the angle of the shank.
