Question:
Is there a standardized distance from the opening of the receiver and the hitch pin hole? Does it change according to the class of the hitch and the weight rating? Does it matter where the hole is? I would think that the hole distance would limit what attachments could be used in it... Thanks for any advise you can offer.

Typically the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on a 1-1/4 inch hitch to the face of the opening on the hitch measures 2 inches whereas on a 2 inch hitch the distance is 2-1/2 inches.
