Does Fan Run All the Time on Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner w/Heat Pump AT15028-22
Question:
i am considering replacing my 20 year old dometic rv a/c with a new 15,000 btu atwood air command with heat strips. my only concerns and hesitation on the purchase is that i have read two or three reviews on the atwood unit and all the complaints are saying that the fan runs all the time 24 hours a day and cannot be shut off?? i would not like this unit if i cannot shut off the fan?? Does the fan always stay on and cannot be shut off? other than this major complaint i hear this is a great unit , quiet and uses less power and puts out more air. i just have to know and be sure that the fan does not run all the time on this model? if i can be assured that the fan does not run all the time or can be shut off i will purchase it. thanks for your time and help.

We haven't had customers complain about the fan constantly running on the Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - 13.9 Amp - 15,000 Btu - Ducted - White Item # AT15028-22. There is an auto fan mode setting that would operate like the auto setting on your home thermostat. The fan would only run constantly in auto mode.

With my old Carrier rooftop a/c, when it was in the auto mode, would cut completely off when the temperature reached the desired setting the whole unit would shutoff. Does the Atwood a/c, heat pump shutoff in the auto mode?
