Availability of Adapter to Allow Use of Spare Tire Mount Bike Rack in Trailer Hitch

Have a 2009 Jeep Grandcherokk and want to use my old bike rack on it from Wrangler. Possible?

For a spare-tire-mount bike carrier like the Yakima SpareRide # Y02599 there is no adapter available to convert the rack for use in either a 1-1/4-inch or 2-inch hitch like the ones that are available for your 2009 GC.
But we do offer some low-cost 2-bike hitch racks that will not break the bank. The linked page displays the 2-bike hanging and platform racks that will fit into any of the hitches made for your GC. The Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform rack # S64650 supports your bikes at their wheels and frames. For a wheel-mount hanging style rack consider the The Curt 2-Bike Rack # C18285.
