Derale Transmission Cooler # D13316 Capacity and PSI Ratings
Question:
What is the power rating for the D13316 radiator? What size engines is this rated for?

Expert Reply:
Transmission coolers like the Derale, # D13316, are not vehicle or engine specific so you could use any cooler so long as you also have the correct fittings for the hose sizes used in the engine. This cooler is recommended for small to mid-size trucks and SUVs. It is a class II cooler rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight. My contact at Derale stated that the cooler is rated for 300 psi.
If you enter the year, make, and model of your vehicle in our fit guide, you can then click on transmission coolers to see the options recommended for that vehicle. I have also included a link to our transmission cooler FAQ article and a link to a video showing a typical installation.
