Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Short Bed

I just bought this 2017 gmc sierra 2500 hd standard 66 bed with factory puck system. I have a draw tite 18k signature serries slider hitch. My question is can i still use this hitch as long as i get an puck adaptor that fits the factory installed system? Thanks Trent

If there was an adapter that would fit your application needs that would be a viable solution, but there are no puck adapters to go from the Signature Series puck dimensions to the dimensions of the GMC factory rail kit of your truck.

So you'll need a new hitch.

For that you would want the B and W Companion Hitch part # BWRVK3770. This is a slider hitch that will fit directly to your rail kit and will work great. Most people refer to the Companion hitches as being the nicest hitches around so I know this will be a great solution for you.
