Does Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller Include Pigtail Wiring Harness
Question:
Looking for a brake controller for a 2010 Chevy Express PV with factory hitch to use for a pop-up or similar trailer. I can see 4 unconnected wires taped to the harness near the e-brake. Does the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional come with the pigtail adapter?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 referenced in your question will indeed come with the pigtail wiring harness that will connect to the wires in your vehicle.
The white wire on the pigtail will be for ground. The black is for 12V power. The blue wire is output to the trailer brakes and the red will connect to the cold side of the stop light switch. I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 in order to determine the functions for the wires in your Express Van.
I have attached the installation details for you to check out.
