Recommended Trailer Hitch and Thule Bike Rack for 2017 Dodge Durango

Question:

I have a 2017 Dodge Durango R/T Would like to install a 2inch receiver so I can mount a Thule bike rack. Im looking at the # 75713 , it looks like the right one , but I want to make sure there is no trade-off like not being able to keep my fullsize spare and no need to triminch a exhaust heat guard as its a leased vehicle. I noticed there was a similar item #c13182, but noticed the notes about Heat guard and No fullsize spare on that model. many thanks in advance, best regards

The Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Round Tube Receiver Hitch # 75713 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2017 Dodge Durango. This particular hitch will indeed fit with the full size spare tire stowed under the vehicle and no drilling or fascia trimming is required. I have attached the written instructions as well as an installation video on your 2017 Durango so you can see exactly what is required.

If you do not yet have a bike rack, I recommend looking at the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. This is one of our most popular racks and will allow you to carry up to 4 bikes at 35 pounds each.
