Can Tire Pressure be Lowered on Motorcycle Trailer to Provide a Better Ride

Motorcycle trailer has 4.80 25-1099-226 tires says 90psi cold trailer never weighs more than 300 pounds can I lower the pressure for better ride

You always want to keep your trailer tires psi set to what is recommended. If the psi is higher or lower then the tire will not perform as the manufacturer states. For instance, the Kenda # AM30670 is rated for 990 lbs at 90 psi. If we were to deflate the tires at all then the 990 lbs capacity that Kenda says the tire can handle will not be the case anymore. Underinflated tires are more prone to overheating and tire failure as well. I strongly advise against lowering the psi.
