Information on Installation of the Curt Custom, No-Drill Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for 2011Ford F150

Question:

Just checking on installation process of this kit. I have a Reese Pro Series, 15k with slider. This kit will mount to my 2011 F-150 6.5 bed frame without drilling? Is there existing part removal necessary from my truck to install this? Other styles note some parts needed to be removed Axle Bumper bolt, Axle bumper and Multi-Thread U-nut. Is that the case for this kit? And there will need to be how many holes drilled in the bed?

Yes, the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, item # C16441-104, will install on the under bed frame of your 2011 Ford F150 without drilling. Drilling will be required for the above bed rails. When drilling holes in the bed be aware of vehicle components underneath and make appropriate safe guards to protect them from damage, such as placing a wooden block to protect components or removing a component if necessary. Eight holes are required in the bed of the truck for this installation.

Some items will be removed from the truck, as you have mentioned, see instructions link. These items will be reinstalled at the end of the installation.

You may also want to consider the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector, item # PK11893-11932, for installation of a 7-Way trailer connector in the bed of your truck.
