What Parts are Needed to Tow a Trailer and Use a Bike Rack on a 2002 Ford Escape
Question:
I have a 2002 Ford Escape with a 2 inch hitch, but the bike rack I have uses the smaller 1.25 inch bar. Is there an adapter? Do I need to get a new bike rack? Help!

No worries! If it's still in good shape, there's no reason why you can't continue using your bike rack. You'd just need to use a hitch receiver reducer like part # HT02. The reducer would install into the hitch and be secured with a hitch pin like # PC3. Then, the bike rack is installed into the reducer.
