Availability of Drop Weight Distribution Shank with 2 More Inches Drop than Reese 54917
Question:
I currently have a Reese 54917 adjustable hitch shank for our trunnion style weight distributing hitch. With our air springs inflated to 80 psi on a Ford Excursion - I need a couple more inches of drop to get our Avion 30P leveled out. What would you recommend for a deeper shank that wont scrape the pavement too badly? Thanks in advance.

For a shank that will fit your Reese weight distribution system and will be right at 2 inches of additional drop you'd want the Curt shank part # C17124 which is compatible with your Reese system and would fit and work well.
