Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2 1987 Ford F-350s with a 1992 C3500
Question:
I need to tow two different 1987. F350 HD Duallies that both are manual trans . one the motor and trans are out of. It weighs under 10,000 lbs. The other truck is complete but not running and is just under 8,000 lbs. I will be towing them about 120 miled either on a freeway no traffic lights or on a highway with lots of lights. The truck towing them is a 1992 4 door, C3500 HD Dually, long bed, auto 4L80E trans. With a 454 motor. Money IS a problem. I need a 10,000lb rated tow bar and reciever, so I have serious shopping to do. Do you have anything I can use?

I've attached a link of all the trailer hitch receivers to fit your 1992 C3500. You'll need to choose one rated for at least 10,000 pounds that fits with the bumper style of your truck.
The least expensive tow bar we carry that is rated for 10,000 pounds is the Blue Ox Avail # BX7420. It also includes the safety cables.
We don't carry any custom base plates for the Fords but the Blue Ox Universal Bolt-On Adapter Tabs # BX88266 are rated for 20,000 pounds and will work with the Blue Ox tow bar.
The Fords are going to need lighting. It makes the most sense to use a magnetic kit like # TL21RK since they're more cost effective and universal.
