I bought just the Curt A16 fifth wheel plate, now I need the rails. I have a 2012 GMC Sierra. What rails would i need? Price? Sliders or non slider rails? Thank you

If your 2012 GMC Sierra has a 6-1/2 foot or an 8 foot bed then I recommend installing the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50064-58 to add the base rails that you will need to install the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16120 in your picture.

If you have the 8 foot bed then you will not need a sliding 5th wheel hitch. If you have the 6-1/2 foot bed then you will want to install the Curt R16 Round Tube Slider # C16560 with your A16 5th wheel head instead as the sliding legs will enable you to make tight turns with the smaller bed size.

A 5-1/2 foot bed requires that a Sidewinder pin box be installed on the trailer due to the lack of cab clearance you will experience during turns. If this is the size bed that you have then let me know what the number on your pin box is (like Lippert 1621) and I can recommend the correct replacement Sidewinder option for you. Also keep in mind you can't use a Curt A-series or Q-series hitch with a sidewinder, so in this case you'd need something like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115 and Wedge # C16991.

Lastly, if you do not have a 7-Way connector installed in the bed of your Sierra already then I recommend installing the Bargman # 50-97-410 which will make connecting and disconnecting your trailer much easier.

I have attached some review videos for you to check out as well.
