Recommended Bike Rack for a 2014 Chevy Trax

I like to know witch suitable bike rack I can use for my 2014 Chevy trax Thank you

I recommend going with the Swagman Semi 2.0 # S64686 for your 2014 Chevrolet Trax.

This bike rack is packed with features. It has the ability to tilt down for easy rear cargo area access as well as fold up for better rear clearance. The wheel style mount allows you to carry pretty much any bike frame style; even carbon fiber bikes! The only restriction is if the bike were to have a fender. It also comes with bike and bike rack locks to secure your gear and deter theft. This rack can also fit in both 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch receivers which makes it very versatile.

The solid steel construction and silver powder coat finish will help to protect the bike rack and ensure that you can use it for years to come.

I have a 2016 Chevy Trax and the Draw-Tite 36554, I really want the RockyMounts MonoRail 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" Hitche. The MFRs dimensional drawing for the rack shows the stowed clearance as 5.5" from center of hitch pin hole. Your video of the 36554 install on the 2016 Trax says that the distance from the center to the outermost part of the bumper as about 5", which is close. Your video of the rack on a Ford Focus show the dimension as 6.75" which is a lot better. I do not mind which as long as it will work. Because of the discrepancy distances, I would like to know if this rack would work. Thansk.

Since you already have the Draw-Tite Hitch # 36554 installed I'd just double check that measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rearmost part of your bumper. As long as it's 5" then the RockyMounts MonoRail # RKY10003 will fit just fine (I'm sending an update to recheck our measurement for what you mentioned). The Swagman Semi 2.0 # S64686 has an 8" clearance measurement so this one will definitely work for you.
