The trailer hitch capacity and class rating should be listed with a sticker on or around the trailer hitch receiver on your 2003 Ford E-350. If you cannot locate this information, I recommend visiting your local Ford dealer with the VIN and if the hitch was installed at the factory, they will be able to tell you its class and weight capacity.
Because Class III and IV trailer hitches have the same size receiver opening, it will be very difficult to determine its capacity based on appearance alone.
