Recommended Wiring Harness For Tekonsha Brake Controller On 2015 Chevy Silverado

I have a tekonsha break controller its from around 2004 yr try to figure out how to wire it have just got a used 2015 chevy truck ls silverado came with a harness but different wire colors not sure what wires go to what.

For your 2015 Chevy Silverado, I recommend getting the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3016 for your truck. It will be plug and play with your Tekonsha Brake Controller.

If you choose to use the adapter that came with your truck, you will need to splice wires to match your controller. The best way to test function is to use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 if you choose to go that route. I've attached some articles to help you with this testing and installation.
