Is there a plug in transformer to use a winch in a house and not in/on a vehicle? Im thinking there should be a transformer for 100Vto 12VDcto use a winch in a house. My big concern is matching dc amperage for the winch. Thanks,

There are winches that are specifically designed for use with AC shore power like what is used on house outlets.
That's going to be your best option.
For a 2,700 lb AC powered winch we have the part # DL25032 which would work well.
