LED Light for Trailer Overhang Compliance Laws in Montana
Question:
I have 16 foot Cedar strip canoe. According to the dimensions given, Id have a 56inch overhang off the back. Maximum over hang in Montana is 4, unless you attach a red flag by day or a red light by night to the end of the canoe. Do you sell such a light? Battery powered? LED bulbs? Thanks.

One of the best products we have for this situation is the Red LED Safety Light, part # HF18R-HD . This is a magnet-base mounting light that offers high visibility and is battery powered.
Another option is the LED Safety Flare, part # PTW2368. This flare lasts for 50 hours off of batteries, and includes a magnet for mounting to metallic surfaces.
If your canoe is not magnetic or doesn't have an appropriate mounting plate, you'd need to fabricate a way to secure it to your trailer load to meet your local ordinances and laws.
