How to Decrease Exhaust Noise on a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

I have a 1969 chevy chevellle Malibu. I has custom exhaust. A little to loud for my taste. Do you sell noise reduction s or tips that would fit a 3inch diameter exhaust?

The best option for you would involve replacing the mufflers on your 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle or adding one if not already installed. I recommend using the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel, Straight-Through Universal Muffler part # MF14219 as this muffler will still provide you with a nice tone upon acceleration but is not too loud for most people as Magnaflow is one of the most popular aftermarket exhaust companies around. If you have a dual exhaust system you will want to use 2 of these mufflers.
If you have a set of exhaust tips that are pointed toward the ground that is called a "turn-down" system. My experience has lead me to believe that a turn-down exhaust system sounds louder than one pointed directly away from the vehicle.
