Can the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Easily be Uninstalled for Front Section on Pop-Up Camper
Question:
Im interested in the cc-275 but am wondering how well it will work with a pop up, specifically because it may interfere with the front wing. Can it be unbolted easily enough to permit opening of said pop up? Then reassembled easily again? Thanks

To install and uninstall the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275 on your pop-up camper would simply be a matter of taking the bolts off that secure each leg to the brackets that install on your trailer (see attached video). It is a very simple process that will work well for what you are looking for.
Please keep in mind that this bike rack carrier has a weight capacity of 100 lbs, has a 2 inch receiver opening, and should only have bike racks installed that are rated for use on an RV.
If you do not already have a bike rack that is rated for use on an RV then I highly recommend the Swagman Trailhead # S63381. It weighs a 30 lbs and can carry 4 bikes that weigh 35 lbs each. However, you will be limited to the remaining 70 pounds once the 30 pounds of the carrier is subtracted from the 100 lbs capacity that the bike rack carrier has. It doesn't come with locking features but if you would like to add security to your setup you can use the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 along with the Cable Lock # e98891.
