Son is leaving for college and needs to take bike with him. Difficult finding a Yakima or Thule bike roof rack. Which will fit the 2500? Will a Yakima Highroad or Highspeed?

In order to find a bike rack that will work with the Rhino Rack 2500, you need to know what type of crossbars it has; the 2500 had more than, for example, the square bars that come with DS1375B.
As for fit, the Yakima HighRoad # Y02114 fits a wide array of bars - factory, aero, round, square, and elliptical. It is a wheel-mount carrier that holds your bike by the front tire with a wheel hoop and the bike tire with a sliding tray with ratcheting strap. The Yakima HighSpeed # Y02115 is also compatible with factory, aero, round, square, and elliptical bars though it is a fork-mount carrier. Each of these racks can be secured with the Yakima Same Key System # Y07204.
