Will a puck style fifth wheel hitch ram m25 off a 2017 dodge 2500 fit my truck

If the hitch from the 2017 Ram is intended for the factory puck system, such as the B&W # BWRVK3670, then it cannot be installed in a truck with standard 5th wheel base rails.
Your 6-foot bed Ram 2500 needs to use a sliding-type 5th wheel hitch like Curt # C16536 in order to have the turning clearance required to avoid the trailer overhang contacting the truck cab. The easiest base rail installation in your 2006 Ram 2500 will be with a custom install kit that requires less drilling. I suggest custom base rail kit # C16420-204 from Curt. For wiring you can use kit # C56001.
