Will Titan BrakeRite Actuator # T4813102 Work on a 2010 Dodge Ram with a Brake Controller
Question:
Interested in the Brakerite for our airstream to replace current defective actuator. We have a Dodge Ram 2010 with brake controller already installed. Will the add-on kit allow me to use my already installed controller on the Dodge?

The Titan BrakeRite Actuator, part # T4813102, will work with an aftermarket brake controller on your 2010 Dodge Ram towing an Airstream trailer with disc brakes.
If you have the factory brake controller on your Dodge Ram you will also need to use the Adapter Module for BrakeRite, part # T4845900. This adapter allows the factory brake controller, which is designed to only work with electric brakes, to be able to communicate with the BrakeRite actuator that is designed for electric-over-hydraulic brakes.
I would also recommend to use the Titan Gel Cell Breakaway Kit, part # T4822100. This kit will work with the BrakeRite actuator and apply the trailer brakes if the trailer becomes disconnected from the vehicle.
If you have drum brakes on your Airstream trailer you will need to use the Dexter Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator, part # K71-650. This actuator will work with drum brakes and will also need to be used with a brake controller that is designed for electric-over-hydraulic brakes. With the Dexter actuator you will also need to use the Dexter Breakaway Kit, part # 34-285.
