Brophy Balll Mount # BM20 Recommendation for a 2005 Jeep Liberty
Question:
Current ball mount is a Curt with 2 and 7 1/4 length.the ball is located directly under the spare tire. Will going to a 12 length mount affect vehicle or towing performance in any way. Towing a popup approx 2800 lbs loaded Thanks

As long as both your 2005 Jeep Liberty and your trailer hitch have towing capacities that are above 2,800 lbs you would have not a problem using Ball Mount 3/4 inch Rise or 2 inch Drop, part # BM20, on the hitch.
You might also be interested in purchasing a Hitch Ball with 2 inch Diameter and Long Shank, part # 63849, as well as a Hitch Ball with 1-7/8 inch Diameter and Long Shank, part # 19260.
