Carriage Bolts Will Turn When Trying to Install Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light # STL14RB
Question:
The bolts in the plastic is not holding, the bolts spin and make it very hard to tighten down, whats the fix for this?

Sounds like the carriage bolts are not setting properly in the square mounting clips on the back the Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light, # STL14RB.
You might try, if room allows, to use a small open end wrench on the square part of the carriage bolt. Using the wrench will allow you hold the bolt in place while starting and tightening the nut.
If you do not have enough clearance to use a wrench, you can use drop or two of super glue on the square part of the carriage bolt. Then hold the bolt on the threaded side to slip the bolt into the mount bracket in the light. The glue will help hold the carriage bolt in the mount on the light while you mount the light on trailer and mount it with the nuts.
Make sure not to use too much glue, you will only need a drop or two.
