Engine Oil Cooler Recommendation for 2015 Ram 1500 Sport 5.7 Liter Hemi

Question:

What oil cooler to you recommend for a 2015 Ram 1500 Sport, 5.7l hemi, hitting 282 engine oil temps only when towing outside temp was 57 deg and 8000 lb load. Preferably thermostatically controlled so to maintain operating temps for fuel economy when no trailer load. During 282 oil temp with 57 deg weather: 221 was coolant temp OEM 203 thermostat, trans temp 215 OEM cooler, but oil climbs away from these temps under trailer load and uphill climbs no OEM oil cooler of any kind. Ive got tons of room for an oil cooler. The cooler will be getting a workout towing from Denver, Colorado to Victoria, Texas soon in late October.

The Derale oil cooler part # D15405 would fit and would be a great option. The oil filter thread size that you need for your 2015 Ram 1500 with a Hemi is 3/4 inch-16 which there is a sandwich adapter included with the # D15405 designed for this thread size.
