Recommendation for 2 or 3 Step Assembly with 25-1/4 Inch Wide Mounting Base

I have been searching for new steps to fit in the factory 25.25inch wide welded on brackets of my travel trailer. My first preference was a 3 step, but I am not finding anything that will fit inside the 25.25inch So now I am looking for the most a double step will give. This is the only set of steps double step with a 9 inch drop for each step I could find that states that it fits into the 25.25inch support brackets. BUT there is no diagram to show the actual dimensions, like most of the other steps online. Can you confirm that these steps do indeed have a max width of 25.25inch to mount to the trailer brackets? Thanks

I went out to the warehouse to take a look at the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps # SMFP-2100 referenced in your question. I actually found that the mounting base on this unit measures 27-5/8 inches wide, so it will be too large to fit between the welded on brackets you mentioned having on your trailer.

I instead recommend looking at the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step # LC432682. This two step assembly does indeed have a mounting base of 25-1/4 inches wide and 8-3/4 inches deep. It features bolt hole centers that are 24 inches wide and 7 inches deep and a drop/rise of 7 inches between the steps. I have attached a video demonstration on this product so you can get a closer look at its features.

As you mentioned, we do not currently have any 3 step assemblies with the mounting base dimensions you are needing. If you are needing an additional step to bridge the gap between the ground and a 2 step assembly, I recommend looking at the Adjustable-Height, Folding Platform Step # S-150. This is a convenient, lightweight step that features foldable legs for easy storage when not in use. I have included a video demonstration on this product as well that you can check out.
