The Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs Item # C16046 does not come fully assembled but really just about all you would have to do is attach the head to the legs.

Since your 2017 Ram 2500 has the 6-1/2 foot bed you will likely not be able to make 90 degree turns with a fixed hitch. The only exception would be a very narrow 5th wheel trailer or one that comes with a tapered front cap. And even then you still might not be able to make a 90 degree turn without the trailer hitting the truck cab.

I recommend going with B&W Companion # BWRVK3670. This hitch is also a direct fit to the factory prep package in your Ram except that it is a slider hitch. It offers 12 inches of travel to maximize turning clearance. I have included a link below to a video review of this hitch.
