For your 2017 Dodge Durango the trailer hitch I would recommend is the # 75713 which is a custom fit hitch for your vehicle. I like it the best because it has the best towing capacities and installs pretty easily. Check out the install video I attached for more info.

If you need a 4-way trailer connector you'd want the part # 118617 as well.

All of the trailer hitches we offer for your 2019 Dodge Durango including the Draw Tite #75713 require the spare wheel size to be 18 inches in diameter or less. You'd have to track down a smaller spare if you wanted to use this hitch.
