Question:
I have 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe AWD. It has a towing capacity of 5,000lbs. I also have a 1956 Thunderbird, that I dont drive all that often. I am military and I have to move often, and I am concerned that towing my 3,000lb thunderbird might be a little much for my SUV. When I tow I will be renting a trailer from Uhaul. Hoping you guys can give me some advise on how to make sure I dont break my SUV. Thanks!

If you stay under the 5,000 lb towing capacity of your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe it will be just fine as that's what Hyundai determined to be a safe amount of weight to tow.
The Curt hitch part # C13153 would be a great option with more than enough capacity as well. It's a confirmed fit for your vehicle. For trailer wiring then you'd want the part # C56184 which is also a confirmed fit.
