Choosing a Ball Mount for 2011 Mercedes GLK 350 With Draw Tite Hitch
Question:
Hi, I recently purchased and installed a Draw Tite Class 3 hitch on a 2011 Mercedes GLK 350 # 75774, the distance measure from the ground to the top of the 2-inch receiver is approx. 13.5 inches. What Ball Mount would you recommend for me to order. Thank you for your help

In order to choose the right 2-ball mount for your 2011 Mercedes GLK 350, there are two measurements you'll need to know. The first one you already have, which is the 13-1/2 inches from the ground to the top of your receiver. Next, you'll just need to measure from the ground to the bottom of your coupler. If the height of your hitch receiver is higher, you'll need a mount with that amount of drop; if your coupler's height is greater, you will need a ball mount with that amount of rise.
For example, since you have 13-1/2 inches from the ground to the top of your receiver, and you measure 9-1/2 inches from the ground to the bottom of your coupler, you would want 4 inches of drop, which you could get with the etrailer.com 2-3/4" Rise or 4" Drop Ball Mount Kit # EBMK4.
I've added a link to a help article on choosing the correct ball mount for you to take a look at, as well as a link to our page with each of our 2-ball mounts.
