Weight Distribution for Use with 48 Inch SuperTruss Extension and 1,000 Pounds Tongue Weight
Question:
What is the recommended Weight Distribution system for the 48inch Supertruss, pulling a 20 foot car trailer, 7000 GVW, 1000 lb max tongue weight? Thanks!

The SuperTruss extension # TLE1548, when used with a SuperHitch Original or Magnum, can use pretty much any weight distribution system rated up to 1,200 pounds tongue weight. Since your trailer tongue weight is 1,000 pounds I do recommend going with a system rated for 1,200 pounds such as Equal-I-Zer # EQ37120ET.
This system includes everything, including the shank and a 2-5/16 inch ball, so you would not have to add those items. But we do recommend adding thin-walled socket # ALL643216 to install the ball due to limited clearance inside the head of the Equal-I-Zer unit. I have linked a video review of the Equal-I-Zer system for you.
