Wire Gauge to Use With Epicord 7-Way Molded Trailer Plug
Question:
Epicord Wiring - 277-000141 has a 12ga for the electric brakes from the 7 way to the junction box. But i have read on you page where it is suggested that you use a 10ga wire to the brakes. Am i missing something or do you run a 10 ga off the junction box?

Expert Reply:
The Epicord 7-Way Molded Trailer Plug with Junction Box # 277-000141 does have 12 gauge wire, which is appropriate. It can also be 10 gauge, however; either would be fine.
I've added a pair of links to video reviews of this product for you to take a look at.
