Roof Rack Kit for a 2014 BMW 3 Series

Question:

Im trying to buy a Whispbar Flush Bar Roof Rack for a 2014 BMW 3 series 4 door sedan with fixed roof mounting points. There are discordant results from your website and the Whispbar website for the crossbars and fit kit. The Whispbar website says that I need the S25 crossbars and the WB-K571 fit kit product #8051571, but your website says that I need the S6 bars and the WB-K380 fit kit product #8051380. Which would be the correct fit? Thanks!

I have a solution for you, but I checked the availability with Yakima of both of the fit kits you mentioned, and they are no longer available. The conflicting information is a result of Whispbar being discontinued and with Yakima, who took over WhispBar, worked to cross link viable kits together. Many of the Whispbar parts are linked through the site still, but are unavailable.

Instead, a comparable in price kit is the Yakima JetStream kit, consisting of:

Yakima JetStream Crossbars, 50 inches, part # Y00425
Yakima SkyLine Towers, part # Y53TR
Yakima SkyLine Fit Kit, part # Y00233

This will add aero-style crossbars to your vehicle and allow you to use a wide range of accessories.
