The Curt hitch # C11367 will fit your 2017 BMW if it is a 340i xDrive Sedan. It is a bolt-on installation with a 1-1/4" receiver. I've attached a link showing this hitch being installed on a 2015 BMW 3 Series.
Please keep in mind this hitch is going to require the use of stabilizing straps # 18050 with all non-trailer accessories such as bike racks and cargo carriers in order to maintain the warranty. I've added a link to a demonstration video which shows you how the straps are used.
