Will a .480x12 wheel and tire replace a 155x12 wheel and tire. Both 4 bolt pattern

A 155x12 wheel and tire is not a very common size for trailers. A close match is going to be something like a 145/80-12 or a 4.80-12 like you mentioned.

A 155 is going to be about 6.1 inches wide. A 145 will be 5.7 inches and a 4.80 will be 4.9 inches wide. The overall diameter of a 155 tire depends on the aspect ratio, the second number in the size, so a 145/80-12 tire has an aspect ratio of 80 percent. This means the overall tire diameter is 21.3 inches. Similarly, the 4.8 has a diameter of 20.7 inches.

I would recommend the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire w/12 inch Galvanized Wheel Item # AM30630 because it is compatible with your needs. This is a bias tire rated for 990 lbs at 90 psi.
