Recommended Plug-In Adapter for Installing Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller on 2016 GMC Yukon
Question:
I have the Voyager brake module I wish to use with my newer 2016 Yukon. Already has the 7way connector at the back. Looks like I need the 3016 connector to mate up to Voyager and the Yukon. What else may I need? Fuses under the dash or in the engine compartment? Surely the wiring is complete back there. I have pulled my utility trailer and the lights do work. Please advise. Regards

Since your 2016 GMC Yukon has the factory 7-Way connector installed at the rear of the vehicle, all you will need to install the Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller # 39510 is the Plug-In Adapter # 3016 that you mentioned. One end of the adapter will plug into the controller itself and the other end will connect to the built-in harness beneath the vehicle's dash.
You should not need any additional fuses or wiring to complete this installation. I have attached the written installation details that you can also look through.
