Replacement Brake Shoes for Electric Brakes

Question:

AKBRKR-S-10 This looks like the pad I need, but it says for manual adjust brakes, Mine are automatic adjusting. Any difference? Mine are also on 2,500lb axles, but that does not mean brakes are not for 3,500 lb.

The brake shoes you need are going to depend on the diameter of your current assemblies and the weight capacity of your axle. The # AKBRKR-S-10 are replacement brake shoes for 10" diameter x 2-1/4" thick manual-adjust, electric trailer brake assemblies on a 3,500 lb axle.

I took a look at the previous assemblies you purchased, and they were 7" assemblies for 2,000 lb axles. Since yours are automatic adjusting, the correct brake shoes would be # AKBRKR-S-7 which are for 7" diameter x 1-1/4" thick electric trailer brake assemblies such as # AKEBRK-2.

I've left a link to a video review of the 7" shoes for you to take a look at.

Question:

Do you sell brake pads for auto adjustable brakes? If so, I cannot find it on website. Could you direct me to the pads that fit that 10" 3500lb adj brake ?

We do have brake shoes for the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust 10" x 2-1/4" electric brakes with an axle rating of 3,500 lbs. You would want # K71-681 for the left shoe and # K71-682 for the right shoe.
