Thule Ski Rack Replacement Brackets

Question:

Hey, Im looking at the brackets for a Thule ski rack. I have the arms and locks, just need the brackets to attach to my roof rack. I have crossbars and I know they can attach right on. Im curious if the brackets have a lock on them as well. I was looking at the system and didnt see a lock. Thanks!

The Pull Top kit, part # TH7520970001 doesn't have a locking feature. I unpacked a kit to check and there's no way of adding it. It does include anti-tamper screws and bolts, so its a lot more difficult to remove from the vehicle than a normal roof rack would be.

You could use a cable lock like part # e98891 to secure the rack to your vehicle by attaching through the hinged side of the rack and around the roof racks to improve the security. Both Pull Top versions do include locking mechanisms on the actual carrier part as well.
